In May, JDC President Stan Rabin and CEO David Schizer announced a new partnership with MJB to expand JDC’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacity across the worldwide organization. The announcement is a culmination of a process that started in 2011 when JDC began to develop a global policy on M&E with MJB’s assistance.
The new partnership will focus on building a global infrastructure that supports M&E in order to enhance data-informed decision-making throughout the organization.
In partnering with MJB, JDC is recognizing the Institute's long-term work in promoting M&E with JDC globally and in Israel. This includes introducing a more systematic approach to developing M&E capacity and outcome-based planning, assisting in the development of ongoing outcome measurement systems, and implementing evaluation studies.
The expanded M&E work will be housed in MJB's Center for System-Wide Impact and Measurement, headed by Yehonatan Almog. It will work closely with Jennifer Heettner, Director of Global Program Knowledge Management at JDC-HQ and with all JDC regions.
