Cross-cutting programs integrate the knowledge and resources of the Institute’s various research programs to effectively address issues that span several disciplines. The Institute has eight multi-year cross-cutting programs and projects in fields that represent important priorities on the public agenda, especially in areas that affect vulnerable populations:
