The Engelberg Center for Children and Youth is devoted to promoting the well-being of Israel’s children and youth (Jewish and Arab-Israeli), with a special commitment to the disadvantaged. Activities include evaluating programs, planning new policies and advising national committees on key issues affecting children and youth.
During a time of severe economic strain, the Center’s work is giving strategic attention to helping government ministries and service providers make the most effective use of limited resources and advance important reforms of the service system.
In addition, the Center is cooperating with new Israeli philanthropic initiatives that have been launched to promote opportunities for different populations of children at risk.
