Vocational Training: Equipping More Youth for Today’s Labor Force

JDC-Ashalim, together with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social Affairs, are piloting program to enable students who study in the Ministry of Social Affairs’s special schools to continue to post-secondary vocational and career education.  The program supports these students during their studies in colleges, in order to help them stay in school so they can receive their diplomas.

MJB’s evaluation includes includes interviews with program operators, school staff, and students, as well as sureys of 12th grade students participating in the program.  Additionally, parallel administrative information was collected on the number of students who continued their studies and those who graduated with a diploma.

MJB’s study runs through Spring 2018.
