Bilingual content writer and storyteller

The external relations team is the face of the Institute. The team is responsible for board relations, resource development, website and digital platforms, film and podcast production, public relations, and international relations. In this position, you will develop and write a variety of materials to help strengthen the relationships and position of the Institute.


Job description:

Excellent writing in English and Hebrew in a variety of styles

Identifying, collecting, and writing stories about our work and impact

Writing scripts for short films, animations, and podcasts

Writing drafts of letters and reports to board members and donors

Preparing materials for personal meetings with donors

Writing web and social media content

Adapting work plan and budget for board members

Assisting in planning board events

Reports to the director of external relations

 

Job requirements:

Identifying and writing compelling stories of our work 

 Interest in social fields

Ability to obtain information from people, and hone in on the main points of interest

Ability to tailor materials for different platforms and diverse audiences

Ability to organize, track, and prioritize tasks

Ability to work independently and in a team

Balance between a fast work pace and high-quality products

Excellent interpersonal relationships

Experience in developing content for film and podcasts - an advantage

Video and still photography skills - an advantage

Familiarity with the English-speaking Jewish Diaspora - an advantage

 

Location: Jerusalem, full-time position
