Researcher, Regulation and QA Team, Quality in Social Services Group, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB), Israel’s leading center for applied social research.
Efrat Shenhav has worked at MJB since 2020. Her main research areas are processes of co-production and inclusion of service recipients in decision-making and policymaking; structuring processes of quality assurance in early childhood centers working according to the inter-ministerial one-stop-shop organizational model; and evaluation of the quality of government workplans as part of the implementation of government resolutions. In recent years, she has acquired extensive experience in research in the social field along with her fieldwork with different disadvantaged populations.
Efrat has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and geography, and a master’s in geography, planning and environment, specializing in urban planning, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is currently nearing completion of a master’s degree in social work at Tel Aviv University.
