Ori Loren has worked at MJB since 2022. His main areas of research are: health policy, reduction of morbidity, and health promotion.
Ori holds a BA in Public Health from the Ashkelon Academic College. As part of his undergraduate studies, Ori published a research paper on environmental behavior change. Ori is currently working toward his Research MA in Health Policy and Management at Ben Gurion University of the Negev. His thesis focuses on the symptoms associated with long COVID.

Health Services for Welfare Populations in Out-of-Home Settings in High-Income OECD Countries: International Literature Review
The objective was to review models of regulating, providing and funding health services in high-income OECD countries for welfare populations residing in of out-of-home care settings who are unable to obtain those services outside their residential settings without special assistance.
Reforms, Trends and Planning in the Healthcare Systems of Europe, Canada and the United States, 2020–2022
The Strategic and Economic Planning Authority within the Israeli Ministry of Health is currently formulating a strategic plan. It has requested the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute to screen the healthcare systems in Europe, Canada and the US in order to identify strategic foci, that is, the issues that these healthcare systems are dealing with and those that they are planning to deal with from 2022 and on, as well as the main reforms and changes carried out during the years 2020–21.
