Dr. Rinat Cohen, Quality in Social Services Group Leader, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB), Israel’s leading center for applied social research.

Dr. Rinat Cohen has worked at MJB since 2022. As part of her role as group leader, Rinat is in charge of research and consulting on the promotion of quality in the social services and the introduction of outcome-oriented work processes through the development of quality standards and measures as well as ongoing measurement tools and evaluation, inspection, and monitoring tools, and the support of data-driven decision-making.

Her main areas of interest are: assumption of management positions, middle leadership, gender, vocational training, development of skills and qualifications, and vocational education. Rinat has many years of experience in managing complex government and public service systems and working vis-à-vis the civil sector and the business sector.

Rinat holds a BA in Education and International Relations and an MA in Communication and Journalism, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a PhD in Management of Education Systems and Gender Studies from Bar-Ilan University.
