What is IJHPR?<\/h3>\n

The Israel Journal of Health Policy Research<\/i><\/a>\u00a0seeks to promote intensive intellectual interactions among scholars and practitioners from Israel and other countries regarding all aspects of health policy, health services research, public health, health promotion, health economics, health care management, and the ethics, sociology, and political science of health care in Israel.\u00a0 The ultimate aim of these intellectual interactions is to contribute to the development of health policy in Israel and around the world.<\/p>\n

What is “Connections”?<\/h3>\n

“Connections”, is a new initiative of the Israel Journal of Health Policy Research. \u00a0“Connections” uses Zoom to host focused conversations between scholars and policymakers, from Israel and abroad. In these conversations, we explore the international and policy significance of selected articles published in Israel’s leading health policy journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Connections is a joint initiative of the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute and the National Institute of Health Policy<\/p>\n

Connections is hosted by Bruce Rosen<\/a>, the special projects editor of the IJHPR. He is also the director of the Smokler Center for Health Policy Research<\/a> at the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What does the National Institute of Health Policy have to do with it?<\/h3>\n

The National Institute is the sponsor of the Israel Journal of Health Policy Research. The NIHP acts as a forum and meeting place for professional and public discussions about the organization, management and health policy in Israel and encourages interdisciplinary scientific cooperation on the national level between all the relevant players.<\/p>\n

What does the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute have to do with it?<\/h3>\n

The IJHPR “Connections” program is produced by the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute, Israel\u2019s leading center for applied social research and consulting, helping to inform and improve social policy, programming, and services for individuals, families, and communities.<\/p>\n
