Afnan Haj Ali

Research Associate, Arab Population Team, Systems Group, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB), Israel’s leading center for applied social research.

Dr. Haj Ali has been working at the MJB since 2023. Her main research areas include Quality of work life, Work values, Cultural values, Quality management, and Arab Education System in Israel. Apart for her main occupation at the MJB, Afnan lectures at the Sakhnin College for Teacher Education. In recent years, Afnan has been working as an organizational consultant for schools in the Arab Education System in Israel, specializing in leadership development and management skills. Afnan also has rich experience in the business banking area.

Afnan has a BA in statistics and education from Haifa University, an MA in statistics (quality management track) from Haifa University, and a PhD in education from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
