Research Fellow, Health Policy Team, Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute — Israel’s leading center for applied social research.

Fady Khoury joined the Institute in 2025. His primary research area is the healthcare workforce. His current studies include: evaluating preparatory residency courses for physicians who completed their medical education abroad in institutions not recognized by the Ministry of Health; examining employment patterns and workforce characteristics of early-career nurses, and their relationship to attrition trends in the profession; evaluating the “Neta” program, a leadership-development track for nurses and paramedical professionals in middle-management positions across health organizations; and assessing the activities of Community Resilience Centers in Israel.

Fady holds a B.A in Cognitive Science and Communication, and an M.A in Cognitive Psychology, both from the University of Haifa. His thesis examined the influence of social factors (such as social and ethnic identity) and cognitive factors (such as proficiency in multiple languages) on prosocial decision-making among minority groups compared with majority populations.
