Researcher, Employment Team, Systems Group, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB), Israel’s leading center for applied social research.

Dr. Hadar Shany has worked at MJB since 2021. Her main areas of expertise are employment and evaluation of programs for the reduction of wage gaps in the labor market.

Hadar has extensive experience in teaching and research in the academia. Her academic research is focused on the impact of emotions on decision-making and negotiations, and the interrelations between emotions, well-being, and performance at work. Hadar is a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, teaching courses and conducting workshops in the field of positive psychology for managers and as a tool in tourism and hotel management.

Hadar holds a BA in Management (Human Resources track) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, an MBA (cum laude), specializing in Organizational Consultancy (research program), from the College of Management Academic Studies, and a PhD in Management Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
