Jonathan (Yoni) Plotkin
Research Analyst, Employment Team, Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute – Israel’s leading applied social research institute.

Jonathan has been working at the Institute since 2025. His main areas of research include employment policy in Israel, the Israeli high-tech sector and its workforce, as well as technological innovation and entrepreneurship. His work also explores the political power of the high-tech industry in Israel and globally. Jonathan participated in the OECD’s QuIS project, which focuses on measuring industrial policy expenditures in Israel He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies and an M.A. from the Federmann School of Public Policy (Honors Program), both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
