Tamir Zausmer is a Research Analyst at the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute – Israel’s leading center for applied social research.
Tamir joined the Institute in 2025, and his research focuses on students’ learning experiences in Israeli schools, comparing diverse pedagogical models within public as well as alternative frameworks: democratic, waldorf, and forest education. His work examines how students perceive their learning environment, the satisfaction of their psychological needs, and the possible attainment of flow-state in learning.

Tamir holds a bachelor’s degree and a research-track master’s degree (M.A.) in Education from Tel-Hai Academic College. He continues to pursue research excellence and plans to begin doctoral studies in the coming years.
