Ella Katz has worked at MJB since 2022. Her main areas of research are: health economics, preventive medicine, and health promotion.

Ella holds a BA in Special Education, Educational Counseling, and Theater Arts and an MA in Sociology and Anthropology, both from Tel Aviv University.

The objectives of the study are: 1. To examine the purchasing habits of the general population in Israel and the frequency of consuming healthy and unhealthy food products in Israel, three years after the introduction of front-of-package nutrition labeling. 2. To examine the attitudes of the Israeli public towards front-of-package nutrition labeling and steps taken by the Ministry of Health to promote healthy nutrition. 3. To compare the survey results at two points in time.
