Since its establishment in 1974, the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute (MJB) has been a trusted partner of the Israeli government. The Institute identifies and examines key social challenges to help improve decisions that impact the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities and strengthen Israeli society. The unprecedented terrorist attack on Israel on Saturday October 7th 2023 and the Israel-Hamas War which began as a result, exacerbated existing social challenges and posed new ones for Israeli society. Even in these difficult times, our team is working hard to support decision makers in implementing projects and services connected with the war.
