The Smokler Center for Health Policy Research

Israel's health system is in the midst of an intensive period of change involving government-led national reforms and innovative program developments in the field. These changes include efforts to expand the range of services covered by national health insurance, to make the system more accessible to disadvantaged populations, and to address the emerging shortage of health care professionals.

The Smokler Center for Health Policy Research works with the national government and health care providers and insurers to provide objective data and independent analyses to assist in planning and evaluating these initiatives.
